I'm almost finished. May be the greatest novel I've EVER read.
Well read - finished it some time ago but never bothered to comment here till now. Why did it take me so long to find this book? Should have been mandatory in high school. I'm sure there's a movie version but i can't recall ever having seen it. Steinbeck is THE great American story teller.
