I've never been happy and sad to see someone at the same time.

I love how the book alternates between Karen's side and Chris' side.

Back then, I thought if I ever cheated, the sky would darken, rain would pour down on me, and I'd turn into a horrible monster. But I was lonely and vulnerable. I didn't feel sexy anymore. I knew I'd let myself go.
