Finally got round to doing my annotation watch through of Ep 6, possibly the shortest episode in terms of page count gotten through. But the episode adds much more from what is essentially only a couple pages in the book.

I was very curious to how they would do this episode and I loved it. Maybe the weakest episode of the bunch but only because I loved the others so much!. I still enjoyed it a lot.

Episode 3 was a fantastic adaptation and update on the Medusa chapter as well as it giving some excellent conflict between the trio to cement their friendship at the start of their journey.

Wow, episode 2 gets through a lot, skipping passed some exposition stuff to get the story rolling.

I love all the camp half blood stuff. Luke, Annabeth and Clarisse are excellent.

I'm loving the show, watched both episodes 3 times now. Loving reading through and annotating the book as I go. I'm having a whale of a time.

"Your Dad's calling"

Reading along and annotating the book as the show goes along. It took me over 2 hours to watch the first episode, I.e. the first 4 chapters of the book.

I loved every character depiction and the adaptation of the opening of the story.

I adore Sally Jackson which makes the end so much more heart breaking. I loved this episode so much!

Bring on episode 2!

In anticipation of the show next week, I bought a brand new copy of the book. My old copy was getting old and falling apart. I decided to take the old copy, make a new cover for it, and annotate the heck out of it as the show goes along.

Is that a little excessive? Sure. But I've loved these books since I was younger than Percy and am excited for this new ride.
