This book offers a beautiful insight into Munch's life and work, exploring his artistic process and ideas that laid the foundations for the Expressionism movement.

There’s an interesting aspect of Munch’s art: its relationship to nature and the cold environment of Norway in the late 1800s. It is something that does now clearly but I believe that the nature that he represents in his paintings is a relevant issue in our contemporary society, particularly in the event of global warming.
