Soren was pushed off the nest, and fell to the bottom of the great tree. Kludd pushed him off. Soren's parents were out hunting, so they couldn't help. Soren gets snatched and taken to St. Aggie's Academy. No one knows what it is, but it's far from Tyto. They are moon blinking owls, or brainwashing. Gylfie, a small desert owl befriends Soren. They will run away from St. Aggie's Academy. They haven't been moon-blinked

A minor character would be Mrs. P, the blind snake who takes care of Soren's family. She is a help because she cautions the young owls to be careful and not hurt themselves while the parents are gone. She is most definitely a good influence. Her role would be "the housekeeper". Mrs P. is no distraction, but she is now considered family since the family is with her all the time.

Character v. Character: Soren and Gylfie try to run away from St. Aggie's Academy. Many times they get caught "anti-moonblinking" themselves. Anti moonblinking is when you don't look at the moon at all during the night, that way the St. Aggie's owls have no chance to brainwash you.

My book is fiction. The sub genres include fantasy, action/adventure. I know this because in the book, the Owls and snakes are talking! I know it is action/adventure because they are exploring the land of Tyto, which is the owl kingdom they currently live in.

The barn owls - Soren, his mom, dad, Kludd the older brother, and newborn sister named Eglantine live in a great, big tree. Soren has just started branching. Their home, also the setting, is perfect for owls because owls learn how to fly from hopping branch to branch. They also have a maid, her name is Mrs. P and is a blind snake. This big tree ensures that the maid won't run away, because the owls need her.
