They give up trying to find out how and why Alaska died, but I infer it will not be over and they will figure it out. - inference

Pudge cheated on his girlfriend with Alaska. Alaska also has a boyfriend and she leaves campus after this. The writer does this to show something will happen with them. - writer's strategy

For their revenge, they distracted the dean with firecrackers so they can put blue hair dye in the guy's shampoos and then they will hack into the computer network and send letters to their families saying that their failing some classes. I predict they will get caught eventually. - prediction

Pudge and Alaska went to the Colonel's for Thanksgiving dinner, my favorite part was when they said what they were thankful for. - favorites
