After reading the author’s debut, The Final Strife, I can’t help but feel like this is good but underdeveloped - like a draft rather than the completed product. I love the story, but it feels like a sequence of actions and dialogue, like the barebones of a draft before extra details are added to bring the story to life. I’m enjoying it but not loving it and I wish it had been given more time to grow.
