Sam Gilman > Status Update

For myself, Recently finished Tolkien's The Fellowship of The Ring. Before starting The Two Towers I would like to understand the culture and history of Middle Earth by attempting to read The Silmarillion. I don't wish to spend a lot of time piecing together an in depth picture of this world, only to become a little more familiar with the origins of these characters and the place they call home.
