I finished Out of the Silent Planet and Perlandia, but I just couldn’t get through That Hideous Strength. It was so hard to follow, I didn’t quite understand the themes, and the dialogue was old-timey, European, and difficult to understand in general, much less in relation to the vague themes that seemed to develop at a snail’s pace. Not for me.

Out of the Silent Planet was good. Peralandra was harder to get through. Poetic, religiously-allegorical discourse overshadowed the story itself. Still looking forward to That Hideous Strength, but going to read something lighter first to give my brain a break!
