Except that I want to find out about the Chief of Police's involvement in this case, I would stop reading. I am so tired of Izzy, a so-called brilliant police officer, contacting the older brother of her partner who was killed while duty. This brother, also a cop, is not supposed to be involved in the investigation, but of course, the author insists that he be involved.
