nothing less than life-changing. this book will fundamentally alter the way you (especially if you're a young girl) understand your relationship with beauty. beauty politics are so harmful but so overlooked, and Naomi Wolf makes so many sharp and deep-cutting arguments about how beauty standards are used to hurt women politically, economically, and socially. i'm nearing the end of this book, but i'll be back for more
