I'm a little curious just what it is about some writing that grabs while other writing does not. So, all personal sophistication lacking, I'll say this is the former- it grabs me. The story is suitably balanced between lighthearted immaturity and real stakes. And this the gayest thing I've read in a year or two, but that's not saying a lot- it's not something I seek out.
