I could be totally wrong here, but already my gut instinct tells me that Neil the douchecanoe, is already getting it on with Cecily and is somehow promised her he'll end up with all of Hallie's $$ and they'll be rich together or something to that nature. Why can Hallie not begin to see the way he's acting, it almost makes me ill to read when she's around him.
