This book is written in such a linguistically beautiful way it almost distracts you from the vile actions of Humbert Humbert. I have never read a book which has made me repeatedly put it down every 10 pages reflect on what I have just read. The idea of young girls being called 'Nymphets' is a sickening yet fascinating idea. I am reading this book through the lens of when I was Dolores' age, and it is making me sad
