I keep waiting for Jason to appear at the Fellowship, though that might have only been added for the show and not be part of the books. I'm not getting a gay vibe from Steve thus far.

Love it. It's fun reading a scene (such as the scene in the woods) and remembering it from True Blood. I didn't realize the novel named any brands of the synthetic drink, though.

Excited to get started, though it's weird knowing a character who lived through most/all the TV show dies in this one.
