So I started drafting some of the things I want to mention in the review and I feel like my review is going to be come a how to writing manual. Between MASSIVE POV issues and a mix of info dumping what he did research and scenes that clearly demonstrate a lack of research to write a helpful and detailed review it's going to take forever.

So I'm getting better at reading though the writing issues, plus it's not as bad further in the book but I do believe I just read the grossest book scene ever created. I might be sick. Seriously.

Apparently in Elmwood the police force is really not interested in evidence and I've now watch this cop steal evidence, destroy evidence, put his bare hands all over crime scene before they're dust etc and now throw evidence in the trash. I mean if you really were attacked, the guy hadn't been found and your night gown was covered in his blood. They would not let you throw it in a trash can. Seriously?!

The book could have really used a good editor. While the scenes are interesting in one chapter I saw three different point of view type including the rarely used second person, a short stent of first person and the rest in two different styles of third person one which seems like a narrator telling the story and then the normal closer third person with a lot of head hopping. Also there are sections of info-dumping.
