Yes. it was recommended to me to re-read them as an adult, different perspective and the jokes fit better and what not

How's it going?

I think, as an adult, I'm realizing how truly awful the unfortunate events are. Like, as a child, Count Olaf marrying Violet was just a way to get her money, but as an adult, certain sentences implied that he probably intended to "consummate" the marriage....So that aspect of things, understanding more makes it a better read, and then just the silly lines coming from Mr. Poe "no, no, no. Dr Montgomery cannot drive, he's dead!" And then Lemony Snicket's rants are just humorous to begin with. Something about how he is banned from a town for reasons he won't get into.
