My author uses a strong word choice. She writes about a poor district so I guess it's in a different time period because it is not really realistic right now. The author is writing more mature books rather than kids books. She uses word choice that makes her books more interesting.

Now Peeta and Katniss have visited every district.In district 8 and 11 there was gunshots right after the train left. They then went to the capital and had a feast. They kissed there and it got caught on camera. They are just coming back for a district 12 feast. All the empty stomachs will be fed soon.

Katniss and Peeta just visited district 11. District 11 is Rue's district which Katniss was really good friends with Rue.

I started this book because I want to finish the series. Katniss has all of her stylists over, to style her for the parade around districts. Peeta is still in his bakery and has not yet had the stylists over. President Snow has just came over to Katniss's house because he thinks that she cheated in the Hunger Games.
