From beginning of this book, I’m already hooked. I’ve already become so attached to Irie and those in her world— in the ghetto of Jamaica during one of the most politically charged period in its history. I had no idea of the turmoil during this time,but I’m already gaining a clearer sense of the terror, the rebellion, heartache, and the musics role in it all,,and the Rasta fight. Love the writing and history.
