On page 35: “The first day of July 1915 was beautiful and sunny. It was hot on Canada Day, but a pleasant breeze cooled things a bit at Ruhleben.” How could the author make and the editors miss such an obvious error? Canada Day was first commemorated in 1982. Prior to that, it was called Dominion Day.
