One thing I could relate to in this story was when Rafe was friends with Matty the Freak. They were like the best of friends and after one conflict they had. They became worst enemies. I could relate to thi when I faced such a thing too we didn't became the worst of enemies but we didn't really talk to each other any more.

My authors word choice is easy to understand. I suppose he writes like this since the main character in this book is a typical teenager.

I am halfway through the book, so far Rafe is trying to find his dad who left his mother and sister when they were very little

This is my first year in middle school. I thought this would be an interesting choice. Later on in the book I hope I get to compare my middle school with Rafe's.
