Is this quote autobiographical? Knowing Austen never married, and also knowing she wrote romance makes this sound like a diary entry. All Anne knew was regret and longing over Wentworth. Now she guesses he isn’t married yet.

I’m reading so many books right now but this one has a different feel. It has my attention but it is so different from the mysteries I love to read. Knowing Austen’s history makes this an even more interesting read.
