The beginning was a bit slow & the characters' dialogue was stilted; Sofi & her friends as characters felt very much like an adult's preconceived notion of how teens talk & act. I am now at the point where Sofi is stuck in Mexico & realizing her parents have lied. Now the book is getting interesting as she struggles with life in a different world from her own.
