This book is taking on the comfortable qualities of a good friend. I almost feel disappointed during flashbacks, because I am enjoying the dynamics of Root so much that I hate to leave.

Oh man, this is shaping up to be GOOD. A real page-turner, which is kind of a problem. I bought it hardcover to avoid blue light at night before bed but now I am falling victim to the "just one more chapter..." trap.
