How are you liking this! I have it on audiobook but haven't started it because the size is quite daunting.

I like it now that I'm more than 250 pages in! It definitely took around 200 pages to get going and set up enough plot for me to get really interested, similar to Dickens or something like that (tone is similar as well, intentionally, though the story is less Dickensian than the tone). I think it'd definitely be something I'd enjoy on audiobook if I could ever remember anything I listened to rather than read.
