When the preacher was talking to the boys about the hoop snake he explained what happens when you eat when after you explode. He said that food drops through a hole in you body because of the hoop snakes.

The starts out exciting, yet weird. Elijah and his friend find tracks of deadly snake. They asked the preacher and he had a very bizarre answer. He said that the snakes would bite you and the poison of the snake would make you swell and blow up.
