Almost got through Magic. It's more palatable than the Matrix, if only by a slight margin. My faith in running Shadowrun according to these rules is wearing thin.

*sigh* Just going through the Matrix section. I can appreciate that they wanted to make the Decker player feel like a pro, but the amount of info a player has to grok before playing one is ridiculous. All the different terms, procedures, programs... and again, as with combat, a bunch of very specific rules which you have to remember... will Shadowrun end up being uplayable for me? :( So disappointed :(

This is probably the crunchiest rulebook I ever read through. Well ok, maybe outside of the d20 Conan books. I like what this system promises, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a group that accepts this amount of crunch. Will have to look at how I can simplify it, or maybe even skip it in certain situations.
