Continuing this series because it’s light, and the dialogue is engaging, which is what I need to relieve stress. Visualizing and making sure I have the names down. Verbalizing is taking some effort. But I remind myself that it helps me to keep track of the plot and have a chance to solve the mystery.

Verbalizing made the book come alive more in my mind but didn’t make me certain about whodunnit or why. I was leaning towards the culprit, and I sort of got the motive right…except the author didn’t have any of the characters state it specifically. It’s alluded to. But you have to fill in the blank. I also thought Walker was being a bit obtuse. But the writing is vivid and cheerful, so a good read.
