At the start of 2023, I set a goal to read 20 books. December and I am at 3. I have accepted the fact that, at this stage of my life, I am simply not a guy who will read 20 books a year. I am much more of a “read one 900 page book about American History a year” kinda guy. And that’s ok! Still want to read more in 24 - but I am less concerned with arbitrary numbers of books.
