The protagonist reminded me of Kinsey Millhone from the Sue Grafton series, yet Olivia Lively is a distinctively different character. For one thing, she has an annoying family interfering with her life, trying to discourage her private eye career and meddle in her love life. For another, Olivia, or "Liv", does have an active love life. The PI work is just as adventurous and complex as a Grafton novel. A fun read.
