Notes:
(1) Hands down, this series has the biggest disparity in art I've ever seen between the covers and interiors.
- I'm sure there's been bigger differences on individual issues, but never over the course of an entire series.
- Christian Alamy does some magnificent linework that borders on the photorealistic. Not that Maixm Simic is bad, just the complete opposite style.

(1) Good thrills to end on, though, as with the whole series, storytelling wasn't as tight as it should have been.
- A big part of detective stories for me is the detection. Breakthroughs here are all lucky guesses and gut feelings, merely rushed shortcuts to big reveals.
(2) The subplot with Azzaro's kid is sort of interesting, but isn't present enough to mean much.

(1) This has all the makings of a decent police procedural, though it takes irritating shortcuts and isn't nearly clear enough.
(2) It's a pet peeve of mine when people cherry pick biblical things, mashing together imagery and out-of-context scripture for the sake of seeming ominous and spooky.
- For people actually familiar with the Bible, it's so annoying and dumb.
