This book is so stale. Idk what all the hype is about honestly this is the second or third book where it's just a c h o r e to keep reading. Super rough. Why does everyone love this series and this author of there are only like 50 pages worth reading?

I'm only a third of the way through, but how many times does Rowan need to be referred to as 'warrior-prince' or 'fae warrior-prince'? Like, we get it. Rowan is fae. He is also a prince. And oh, guess what, he's a warrior. I don't need to be reminded of this in basically every sentence that references Rowan or what he is doing. These over used descriptors are making my eye twitch. . .
