DNFing here. I really wanted to like this book but I found Violet and Xaden and their relationship unsettling, frustrating, and annoying. I’m just not enjoying myself anymore

STRUGGLING. Violet oscillates between “oh no I know too much and I got my friends killed” and pouting bc Xaden won’t tell her literally everything about the rebellion. Violets military background makes it unrealistic and entitled that she demands all information about an org she just arrived in. Also the violent school that encourages student death is clearly not being lined up as a villain, which I find gross
