Ummmm I doubt Zoe would have been able to stay on an ex racehorse at a racetrack, let alone stay fairly calm. Isn’t Raven supposed to be an accomplished ottb? He would be 100% focused on catching up to and beating the other horses, which would be way too much for Zoe, who has probably never gone race-speed fast in her riding career.

At the beginning of this chapter, I said “I’m thankful that they didn’t have Zoe and Raven race. That would be basic.”

“Maybe this won’t be as cringe as the show.” It is. Steeplechasing and show jumping are not even close to the same. A show jumper probably won’t do crap in a steeplechase. Really??
