Wow this book was kind of a really enjoyable read for me up until now. I get the idea behind the comedy of the duke and the king, but they have kinda completely derailed the fun for me. Like maybe if they were in like 2 or 3 chapters, but now we’re pushing 6??? Like come on omg

Never read through the whole thing in High School, read Toni Morrison's introduction to the book after hearing about the controversies and also read an editoral collecting black opinions on the book. So far it's a pretty interesting read, though pretty dated. I think Twain's writing style is more entertaining than the actual content hahaha.
