So far in this book, the main characters name is Alexis (Lex for short). A couple week before the story started her younger brother, Ty committed suicide unexpecttedly. She's struggling with going back to school and dealing with everyone asking her if she's okay with the sudden death of her brother. She also recently saw a ghost, who she knows is Ty. She hasn't told anyone about it...yet.
