I am just so glad that Lexa's accident is not on Hades' conscious. It had the potential to do irrepairable damage to his relationship with Persephone. Overall this was a good book but I am getting tired of reading the different ways the main couple go about having sex all the time. I am excited for the next book, I am hoping the war would mean more plot and less spice tbh

Damn if this is not the biggest case of lack of communication I have ever seen. I feel like there won't even be a need of these many books if instead of having sex every time they are near each other Hades and Persephone simply tried to have a decent conversation with one another. I do believe that Hades was wrong to keep details of his life secret from the woman he loves

This one is more plot heavy than the Touch of Ruin book it seems to me. We get to witness Hades in action fulfiling his role and duties as the God of the Dead. NGL I am annoyed because it seems like the whole fight could have ended if only Hades was honest with Persephone about why he wants her to stay away from Apollo. I am wondering how the hell did Felix know about Persephone

Once again, I am loving being told the same events from Hades’ POV so much more than I did in The Touch of Ruin. The author really makes him a villain in those books ngl since we are completely blind as to what goes on in his head. Knowing what Apollo did to him in the past, his actions seem so much more justified than they did in the other book
