Next country for my global reading challenge is Turkmenistan. I know *nothing* about this country, but the introduction did an outstanding job of introducing the political landscape of this country since its independence in 1991. Feel lucky to be reading it since it is apparently ranked 178/180 in the World Press Freedom Index :(
