I'm clearing out my current KU so if I mark something as currently reading and then it disappears shortly after, no one saw anything...if you DNF a book before anyone notices, did it really happen?

I’d say it didnt happen 🫡. I’ve been sampling books all week and even if I click off the post to goodreads it still seems to post to goodreads.

I appreciate y’all! ❤️@Kristina I have mine turned off all the time for marking it on GR. I have to choose it manually when I finish a book, but I used to have the same problem!
I thought I had it turned off but recently, after an app update, it kept marking everything on goodreads. I think I have to turn the syncing off in the settings but I don’t wanna *crosses arms*

Aaah, but the real question is if you DNF does it count for your GR reading challenge? 😱 I say they do count, because it’s a reward for suffering! But some people have very strong thoughts in the other direction. 🙊
I don’t count them but I fully support anyone else counting them! Our reading goals are personal so personal choice 🤷♀️. But that doesn’t stop other folks from getting worked up 😂.
I count them if it is a long book and I hit the mid point, especially if it’s excruciating. I need credit for that misery and it took me away from better books. But agree 💯 it’s a personal choice and no one’s business how you want to track your challenge.
Exactly. First: it’s an informal personal grading, & second: why should anyone GAF that strongly? 🙃 People are such highly-strung whackadoodles about the weirdest things, lol. (Not on this thread, thankfully, but I have witnessed DNF drama in other places. Why?!)
