It's been a while since I've been here, I basically abandoned ship around the time Amazon acquired goodreads. I iz confuse about all the missing spoilers in many of my reviews. Anyone care to explain? Is that something Amazon did?

Can't answer the spoiler question, however I also left around that time for life issues that prevented me from reading as avidly as before. Been poking around Goodreads a little recently... difficult to get back into the swing of things. Is there another book site that you can recommend?

I have also had a difficult time getting back into the swing of things. Reviewing isn't as fun as it used to be because of all the bullshit you receive if you don't like some shitty book that was written for the masses. I receive so many rude-ass private messages and comments on my negative reviews. I do remember that when Amazon acquired goodreads some of my favorite reviewers talked about going to other sites but I can't remember which ones they were. I'll have to dig through my private messages to find the names of those more obscure reviewer sites.
I also remember talk of other sites, don't recall what they were. It's a shame, Goodreads was great once upon a time
