I just finished ‘Our Fair City’ and it was ridiculous lol. Not my favorite of the lot by far, but it was an interesting ride with lots of 1950s slang.

"—And He Built A Crooked House" was cute. It was fun seeing the way the author played with folds in space. I love the concept of a tesseract as a house. The characters acted pretty dumb though. Three stars :)

I can’t tell if the misogyny is real or if the author is trying to make a social comment to set up something further in the book. He does mention the decision is made while drinking so he’s probably setting something up for later. No decision should be made while drinking. It always ends badly.

Just finished “They” and again, I read a similar short before (possibly PKD, but not 100% sure), so I wasn’t super surprised at the end. Mostly I was just annoyed at the sociopathic main character’s inner monologue.

Is it psychopaths or sociopaths who don’t believe other people are real? Either way, this narrator is totally that.

Just finished “All You Zombies” and have mixed feelings. The twist was given away just before the actual reveal because of the title of the song so I wasn’t wowed. I also have read and watched so much sci-fi that the ending wasn’t as much of a mind blowing experience as it probably was to readers in the 1950s. This could have been a pretty interesting reflection on gender politics but alas, no such luck.
