Ive found myself laughing out loud to some of the scenes that Thompson addresses. A truly British book, it perfectly sums up the eccentricity of a village cricket team. The characters are wonderfully described -- i am interested which of these are the 'biographical' portion of the 'semi-autobiographical' sub-genre.
