This is so fast paced and noone explains anything and nothing makes sense jsbsjdndnd 😭😭

I had forgotten/not realized how little detail is written into children's books (facial expressions, emotions/reactions, inner monologues etc etc). I wonder why that is ? 🤔 Is it to let the kids use their imagination on their own or to help them keep focus on the storyline ? (Or if this is a special case for this book in particular)

Okay so I am fully aware that this is a book aimed towards middle schoolers but MAN I forgot how robot-y dialogue was in childrens' books 😭😭

Also I know that you should read diverse things and all but I vote for reading fantasy in Swedish being the exception to the rule alright 😭😭😭

I tried to go book shopping a couple weeks ago but felt so bad about my half abandoned, physical TBR that I now challenge myself to finish as many as possible before new years lol

Prepare for a weird mix of literature from me for a while jsjsjs
