.speaking is repetitious and ridden with instability. He expresses his appreciation for the doctor (again repetitiously) but once he's outside the office he basically takes off the social mask and calls the doctor dumb as a rock. It's funny because when he was talking to the doctor he states " I only put on a mask at a masquerade, and don't wear one before people every day." Yeah OK, let's get you back to bed grandpa
