have i missed something or is there literally a talking meerkat called john the baptist rn. surely meerkat is a word for robot in this world or some shit. how someone could write both this and annihilation is beyond me (sorry)

many thoughts . i have no idea what's going on. i hate sci fi jargon. i think i would have more fun reading this in summer. it makes me miss ursula k le guin i think left hand of darkness was soooo intensely fun when i read it in summer
