Why does the word brunette bother me when it’s used as an adjective? At least this author isn’t using it to describe a man.

I don’t like when the author gives us a strong, smart heroine and then repeatedly has the hero make her look foolish. Is she not allowed to be strong? Does she need taken down a peg? What is this author trying to say here?

Ugh, the margins on Kobo are annoyingly wide. It doesn’t feel like a book, it’s list reading a pamphlet. Booo.
