The plot thickens! I knew it when it was said, "it took years and effort, for the mundane to forget that magic existed." That there was abuse happening in the mages world.

I wanted to read, 'The Bodyguards Vessel' until I noticed this was a series. Didn't cost much, so why not. Why not just DNF this one and stick to the Bodyguard.

I mean siblings...really. then before chapter 1 ends the plot twist. So early in the plot. Makes me wonder if this is just tropes, twist, and turns. Basically a book to read while bored
