I found this book at McNally Jackson in December 2022 in New York just when I needed to; and reading the first few pages had me crying at that bookstore, realizing this was going to be a confronting read. Having struggled with it over much of 2023 I've now (mid-November) learnt a lot about patriarchy and white supremacy through a lens that for years went underrepresented in my reading and teaching.
