Shaul Fox's 5 domains that touch listener's emotions: the core msg, phrasing of the msg, characteristics of the leaders, interaction of ldrs w/ those going through the change, the setting. Show don't tell. Apologize quickly & sincerely. Engage multiple senses. #9- Understand perspective. Active listening.

#7: Be specific. Down with generic messages. Tailor to your audience. Make it personal. Provide context for the not so obvious. Toss a big tent over the discussion, give relevant reasons in the right order, tell HOW, not just what or why. Anchor your point. Make pain less intense. A lot packed into this little chapter.

2nd principle is Collaboration, which I always find is easier said than done if you haven't already "hooked" the group. This chap should help with strategies to get that buy-in. The 3rd principle: Keep the message simple. Promotes clarity and focus.
