Well, the start of this book is a delight. Not that it is "fluffy" and funny. No. In fact, Mattie is a widow and pregnant. Samuel -- well, bad choices eventually caught up with him. I look for those sentences that are powerful statements. And already found two. Wish I could quote them, but this is a NetGalley book. Oh and Charlie -- A cute little goat that to me is an ESA. Just knows when someone needs lifting up.
